UK should impose sanctions to boost loans: panel
LONDON (Reuters) - Britain’s Treasury should impose “effective and enforceable” sanctions to encourage the country’s bailed-out lenders to meet loan promises made as a condition of receiving taxpayer support, lawmakers said in a report.
